MODEL BOILERMASTERTM END PREPARATION SYSTEM

Model BOILERMASTERTM is a portable boiler tube machine for weld end preparation designed specifically to make the job easier and faster in the rugged environment of a boiler. The BOILERMASTERTM features integral feed and mandrel actuation ratchets (reversible) for speed and ease of use, hardened mandrel shaft with shaft seal for maximum life, extra heavy-duty tool bits, and 1.5 HP pneumatic motor for maximum cutting speed and wall thickness capability. A unique mandrel system provides an ID mounting range of 1.20” (30.48mm) to 4.33”(109.98mm). Optional mandrels are available for mounting in .625” (15.88mm) to 1.00”(25.4mm) ID and 1.00” (25.4mm) to 1.25” (31.75mm) ID. Two sizes of Cutter Heads, each with 2 heavy duty wedge lock bit slots and one 1/4” bit slot are available to provide for simultaneous beveling, facing and counterboring. The 2.63”(66.8mm) diameter Cutter Head and ratchet feed system allows the tool to work next to or between most boiler tubes (2.63”(66.8mm) minimum width required). The 4.00” (101.6mm) diameter Cutter Head is used for larger pipe sizes and to increase tool bit versatility. For safety, the cutting head rotation and speed is controlled by a dead man lever and flow control valve.
