MODEL 601SBM LOW PROFILE CLAMSHELL

Model 601SBM Clamshell is a split-frame, OD mounting pipe lathe for severing or severing and beveling in-line pipe from .250” (13.7mm) to 1.00” (33.4mm). Standard profile tool modules use .500” by .750” tool bits and provide more travel for the tool bits, plus greater wall thickness capability for sever/bevel operations. The lathe requires adjustable clamping pads to allow the operator to compensate for out- of-round pipe. Clamping pads are size specific and purchased separately. The lathe is powered by a right-angle pneumatic motor provided, with a torque-accepting flange, which also allows optimum clearance positioning.
