MODEL 204B BEVELMASTER END PREPARATION SYSTEM

Model 204B BEVELMASTER is a portable ID mounted machine for weld end preparation for pipe 1.250” (42.2mm) to 4.00” (114.3mm) (all schedules) plus .750” (26.7mm) pipe up to schedule 80 and 1.00” (33.4mm) pipe up to schedule 160. A unique mandrel system provides an ID mounting range of 1.25” (31.75mm) to 4.33” (110mm). Optional mandrels are available for mounting in .625” (15.88mm) ID to 1.00” (25.4mm) ID and 1.00” (25.4mm) ID to 1.25” (31.75mm) ID. Three adjustable tool holders provide simultaneous beveling, facing and counterboring over the full range. The facing tool bit has a Cam adjustment mechanism for quick and simple land thickness adjustments. An inline feed mechanism allows the operator to rapidly advance or retract the cutting head while providing good cutting control. Options include elbow mandrels for “fittings” within the size range and full support mandrels for thin wall pipe and refacing flanges are available. For safety, the cutting head rotation and speed is controlled by a dead man lever and flow control valve.
